Tang-wei-gou Park (Tang-wei Spa)

To create and promote the new image of the warm spring, the Yilan County Government had planned to establish the Tang-wei-gou Park, through four phases of construction, in an attempt to provide its visitors a soothing spa in a natural setting. The park was inaugurated on December 17th in the year of 2005.

The park features elaborately designed green landscape with viewing pavilion, outdoor foot spa, and old-fashioned juniper spa. Local residents come here to recall their memories of the traditional spa, while visitors from outside of the town enjoy the natural juniper spa.

Lovely place to soak your feet and fish pedicure

    4 2019-12

We paid 60NT each to have a fish pedicure. Quite interesting experience. Multiple hook present machines to interest the kids and also a big pond to soak your feet . Opposite the road is also the famous bakery where you try lots of free cookies and cakes . Spend about 1-2 hrs here

    Small park

    3 2019-12

Went to the park on foot. It is a really small park with just a few small pools for people to dip their feet inside hot springs. I can see that the locals enjoy it. There are toilet facilities there and a joint that sells decent enough craft beer. I didn't spend a lot of time there because the park is really small.

    Old fashioned

    4 2019-01

This a historical hot spring park right in the center of downtown Jiaosi. It’s small and compact with several commercial establishments for foot soak with fish. The public bathing house is inexpensive. The public toilets can be cleaner.

    A nice onsen

    5 2019-01

It's small but clean and well maintained. The paid entry of TWD 80 (exclude locker, towel, shower cap etc) is well priced esp if one comes prepared. For TWD 100 (entrance fee + locker) I can't ask for more. It's value for money. Many Japanese ladies and kids there, for a minute, I thought I was in an onsen somewhere in Japan 😀👍

    Very small

When we walked around, there appeared to be dog droppings. Not sure if it was dumped by strayed dogs or people do not pick up after their animals.
